Contingent searches are “contingent” upon on a successful search assignment. The fee for service is only paid at the completion of the assignment. 

Contained searches are more service oriented agreements. The Contained search is a hybrid of the performance Contingent search model and the Retained search service model.  Contained searches require a deposit paid at the launch of the search and the balance of the fee is paid at the completion of the assignment. The search deposit escalates the search assignment to the top of existing engagements and takes priority over contingent searches. This model should be used when time is of the essence and filling this role is your top priority. Historically, this search comes with a longer guarantee period and terms more favorable to the client.

Retained searches are the pinnacle of the search programs because they are service oriented at the beginning, middle and end of the assignment.  Retained search programs require a deposit paid at the  launch of the assignment, a second installment paid after 30 calendar days and the balance of the fee is due upon the completion of the search. The Retained search moves all preexisting searches off our desk until we have your search completed and wrapped up tightly. This model is best utilized on searches of influence where an officer level vacancy requires immediate and unending support, communication and efficient delivery of a slate of candidates. The level of sophistication is evident with the use of interview recording technology and deep dive reference checking both ensuring you are getting the best and brightest candidates the market will bare. The guarantee period for this search model is the longest we offer with terms well suited to be attractive to you the client.
